Tony Parker's History Brush Effects

What I did here was I first had to change the picture into grayscale, took a snapshot, then changed it back into an RGB colored picture. After doing so, I also altered the picture effects with a wind effect and a blur effect, then captured another snapshot. Using the history brush again, I then painted Tony Parker Back into the picture while keeping the grayscale and other effects only in the background.

History Brushes and Tigers

What I did here was I converted the picture to a grayscale then immediately changed it back to an RGB colored picture. After that, I went into the history panel and took a snapshot of it in grayscale. Then, with the help of the history brush, I changed back and forth between each picture in order to paint only the tiger and orange coat back in the picture while keeping only the background grayscale.

Obama Portrait

What I did to our President of the United States was I first had to use the pen tool to trace every part of his face, from the pupils in his eyes to the blue tie on his chest, and I then had to fill each part with a their corresponding color while also stroking the bridge of the nose, the nose itself, and his chin with a regular brush.

Adding Elements Project

What I did here was I first had to extend the actual photo to 11"x 8".  After doing that, I had to use the stamp tool to "fit" the photo on the entire canvas. I then filled a box in with a pattern overlay and changed the color to a more old look and used the lasso tool on the edges of the paper, weaving in and out to make the edges seem torn. After that, The elliptical marquee tool helped me to make a circle with another circle in it and I used the bevel and emboss layer option to make it look like a brad. The text on the "paper" had a script font but for the Texas text, I used a bluebonnet pattern overlay, which I made myself, the bevel and emboss with a Gaussian contour, and a drop shadow to make it pop. The very last task to accomplish was to give the sky a blue color to it, and I did that by using the gradient tool and simply just dragging down completed the new and improved picture.

Clone Stamp Tool Magic

What I did here was I used then clone stamp tool to make a dog in the water, footprints on the beach, bags under some eyes, and a small child in the middle of the field disappear. This was accomplished by adding the same layers from area surrounding them onto the target spots.

Adjustment Work

What I did here was I was i gathered all the pictures I used with adjustments layers and I made a collage. I used the beach picture as a backdrop for the rest of the pics. Then i set a layer mask on the rest of the pictures and used the gradient tool to have each picture "bleed" into the background.

Adjustments filters

What I did with all of these pictures was I had to use adjustments on each to give the picture more life. The pictures with the beach and the father and son high-fiving were both adjusted using presets given to me. The rest of them, I set hue and saturation adjustments to most of them and also a bit of level adjustments with the color.

YMCA Mannequins

What I did here was I first duplicated the original mannequin layer to make four of them. Then I used the puppet warp feature to move all of their arms in the shape of the letters, Y, M, C, and A by putting pinpoints on the areas I wanted to move and moving them accordingly.

Rainbow Peeps

What I did here was I first used the wand tool on each face to select every part of their skin, then I used the paint bucket tool to fill in the color and then I used adjustment layers to give them the shade they are. For each person, I had to go to the original picture to use the wand tool then when using the paint bucket tool, I would have to make a new layer for every person and adjusted each one with the brush and eraser tools.

Eye Dropping a Dreamcatcher

What I did here was had to open a new page in Photoshop since it will not let you edit the dreamcatcher without doing so. After doing that and dragging the screenshot into Photoshop, I used the eye dropper tool to select a color that I specifically wanted to use and I then had to change to my paint bucket tool in order to color, or fill in, the areas I wanted filled in with that certain color.

Color Screenshots

My screenshots in order from top: Monochromatic, Complementary, Analogous, Triad, Compound, Shades.

PTA Reflections Project

What I did here was I used a peace sign and a picture of Earth. I put the earth as the top layer and had a clipping mask on it. After doing that, I had to group the peace sign and earth layers into one so the peace sign would not lose its mask. I duplicated the now earthly peace sign into a different document and used a bigger peace sign so I could make one giant peace sign out of all these little peace signs.

Sippee Cup Pen Tool Practice

What i did here was i used the pen tool to make a shape around the cup itself. After doing that, I stroked it with a black border using the brush tool. I then used the pen tool on the yellow part inside of the cup, made it a selection, and deleted it.

A Red Circle

What I did here was i used the pen tool to make a circle. the circle was made by connecting the number dots and letter dots together and when they closed off, it produced a complete and full circle. I then filled it in with a red color and made the border around it black.

Halloween Poster

What I did here was I used many different pictures from Clipart to complete the entire poster. With the cat eyes and the ghost, I used different layer patterns to make the edges disappear. I duplicated the cross gravestones and wrote text on the larger one.

Shirt colors

What I did here was I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the entire shirt. I then used quick mask mode to see if there were any mistakes. I used the paint bucket tool to change the color and selected a different overlay to make it more realistic.

Gradient Picture Masking Project

What I did here was I first loaded all the pictures into photoshop and arranged them as I wanted them to be. Then I placed the Metallica picture on the very top layer so that when I use gradient masking on it, all the pictures under it will show. I then selected each picture and put a layer mask on them, which I then proceeded to use the gradient tool in order to fade the pictures into one another but not harming them. After that, I used the brush and put the opacity down to have the pictures have a more realistic fade to them.

Another Postcard.

What I did here was I first made a filmstrip looking box by deleting an amount of space in the middle of a black box using the marquee tool. I then used a square eraser to erase the bottom and top parts to give it the filmstrip look. After doing all that, I grouped the template with all of the other pictures and sized both the template and the pictures down in order to have just one giant filmstrip (which is loosely based on the human evolutionary chain). I found a very nice picture of earth to give it a more science aura. Lastly was to add text and make it 3D to have it pop out and give it animation almost.

Matching animals.

What I did here was I wanted to match each animal with its habitat. I sized up the backgrounds evenly with the help of grid lines and made them all similar in size. I then sized down the animals and moved them to their corresponding habitats (also with the help of grid lines).

Size all of the things!

What I learned today was how to transfer many pictures at once from Adobe Bridge to Photoshop at the same time. I then learned how to size up pictures using a grid and how to move between different layers at a time.

What I did here was I used many different pictures of flowers and I used a grid to help me make those four small pictures the same size and shape without messing up any pixels. I then hid a layer to show the sunflower as the background picture.

Just a Photoshop thing....

With the first one, I used the content aware scale to shift the lady on the far left closer to the group. On the second picture, I used custom shapes to make it a flag. I then rotated it half way to 45 degrees. On the third picture, all I had to do was use the straightening tool to straighten the ground and make it level.

More photoshop work!

What I did to this image was I used the ruler tool to straighten out the horizon. After straightening that out, I then cropped the image so the borders wouldn't show.
